What is Mrs. Ross-Nissley's Homework Policy?
When students are given homework, assignments and/or projects the work must be completed at home and brought in on the due date. This means all homework not turned in on the due date will result in a lower grade. Students who are absent or have a legitimate excuse will be allowed the amount of absent days to turn in the work. As part of your daily routine your child will be bringing home a daily homework log. Please take the time to review the log and the homework that must be turned in. Once you have looked over each assignment, please sign above the line that asks for the parent signature. Your child will receive a special award each day that this is done correctly.

The Students are given many opportunities to remain motivated about learning. Here are some of the rewards they will receive when they complete their work, follow school rules and model good behavior and attitude.

2. Students will be given a sticker for good behavior on a daily basis. If they make a full week worth of stickers they will receive candy. If they make a full month of stickers they will have a change to pick out of the treasure box.
3. Students who turn in homework regularly and do not miss one assignment in a month’s time will receive a “No Homework Pass” to use as they like.
