Homework

Just a reminder that homework is sent home every Monday through Thursday evening.  Students that do not return completed homework automatically losses ten percent off their homework each day it is late. After 3 days of not turning it in they will receive a zero.

I have a Golf Ball System in my classroom.  The idea of the system is that every student has a golf ball with their name on it and they will start off with their ball on the “Green” area.  If I tell them to move the golf ball for not following any of the Fairmont Five they go to the Sand. If their golf ball is in the sand, they have a chance to get it moved back. If I tell them to move the golf ball again, they go in the water and they do NOT have a chance to get their golf ball moved back.

STAY IN THE GREEN

Students that do not follow the classroom and/or Fairmont Five will face the following consequences:

Sand- Five minutes off of recess

Water- No recess and student has to  write me a   letter of why they were in the water and what they plan on doing next time.

If problem behavior continues further, I will call home.  (if the student is in the “water” three days in a row, parent will be notified.
