Dear Parents/Guardians, Staff, & Community Members,
This morning the superintendents of Will County met with the Regional Office of Education to discuss the current COVID-19 situation and make decisions for their districts. We are aware that many counties in the area are closing their schools.
In the event of a closure of any school in our district area, a decision will be made among all the feeder school districts and Lockport Township High School to close at the same time, for the same duration.
The situation is rapidly changing. We encourage families to begin making contingency plans for child care in the event schools are closed at some point. We also urge families to closely follow information posted on our website and in email communications for the latest updates, so that appropriate plans can be made.
