In preparation for our upcoming testing season for our 3rd through 8th grade students, we would like to share test prep and additional resources for our families.
The Illinois Assessment of Readiness (IAR) is a computer-based standardized assessment for all students in grades 3-8. The IAR is designed to measure students' progress in English Language Arts (ELA) and Mathematics.
Fairmont students in grades 3-8 will participate in the IAR from March 16 to March 26.
The Illinois Science Assessment (ISA) is a computer-based standardized assessment for students in grades 5 and 8. The ISA assesses progress in meeting the Illinois Learning Standards in Science, incorporating the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS).
Fairmont students in grades 5 - 8 will participate in the ISA from April 8 to April 10.
